The Hamilton 14 watch movement, also referred to as Wehrmachtswerk (Germany Military Movement), is part of a line of movements that includes the AS 1130, 1142, 1149, 1243, 1286, 1295, 1304, 1339, 1383, 1387, 1392, 1399, 1401, 1420, 1487, 1502, 1522, 1540, 1542, 1548, 1573, 1597, 1667, and 1685. It is noteworthy that there are two calibres of this line with a size of 13.5''', namely the 1337 and 1511, and two calibres with a size of 14''', namely the 1486 and 1543. Furthermore, three calibres within this line possess an indirect sweep second: 1155, 1164, and 1195. However, the AS 1188 with a direct sweep second later replaced these calibres shortly after their production. The Hamilton 14 movement is a manual wind movement with a sub second function, and it was commonly used around the year 1955.
