The Gruen 885 watch movement, produced around 1950, features a manual wind mechanism and a pin-lever escapement. It incorporates a sub second function and a ratchet on the dial side, with a crown mechanism utilizing a rocker bar. The 15 jewels version of this movement imitates balance screws to a high degree of precision.
