The Girard Perregaux 54 NEW is a manual wind mechanical watch movement with a sweep second function. It features a relatively large balance and low profile, thanks to its indirectly driven minute hand. The movement allows for the setting of day by +/-24 hours and date through repeated pulling and pushing of the crown. The Girard Perregaux 54 NEW was in use from 1972 to 1977.
