The General 80 watch movement is a mechanical manual wind movement. It features a sub-second function and includes a day indicator. The date can be set using the pusher at 2 o'clock. Additionally, the movement incorporates a calendar and a moon-phase display. The specific differences between the 1356, 1356N, and 1644 models are not currently known.
