The General 32A watch movement is an open-face calibre with a Breguet hairspring. It features an intermediate wheel positioned between the minute pinion and the rest of the train, allowing for a low profile design without compromising durability. The movement takes its name from the arrangement of the four train bearings, which corresponds to the four brightest stars of the Pleiades constellation. The calibre has the optional capability to obtain a Chronometer certificate from the Neuchatel Observatory. The differences between the 17'''10, 701, 703, and 7521 variations of this movement are currently unknown. Notable functions of the General 32A movement include stem winding and setting as well as a sub-second display. This movement was introduced in 1910 and has been used since then.
