The Forster 51 watch movement is a manual-wind alarm movement. It features a hammer on a spiral gong to produce the alarm sound. The volume of the alarm can be adjusted and is indicated in an aperture. Additionally, the movement includes a sweep second hand functionality. The Forster 51 movement was mainly used around 1955.
