The Forster 221 watch movement, produced around 1973, features a micro-rotor mechanism supported by four ball-bearings. Its design incorporates Universal's combined settings with an oil aperture for the escapement wheel. The movement is equipped with an indirectly driven minute hand, allowing for a low-profile construction. Additionally, it offers automatic winding and a date function that can be set by changing the 21-24 hour marker. This movement was commonly used during the period of approximately 1974.
