The Fontainemelon 62 watch movement features a manual winding mechanism that allows for the watch to be wound by hand. It also includes a sweep second function, which means that the second hand moves continuously rather than ticking. The day and date display of the watch can be set by changing the 21-24h, while the date can be updated quickly by repeatedly pulling and pushing the crown. This particular movement was in use approximately around 1975. In early samples, the minute wheel was designed to run on ruby studs.
