The Fontainemelon 285 watch movement was introduced as a jubilee edition of the 862 movement in 1993, with a limited production run of 999 units. It shares similar characteristics with other editions produced between 1980 and 1987, with a total production of 1987 units during that period. The movement features a manual-wind chronograph function with 60-second, 30-minute, and 12-hour subdials that are cam switched. It also includes a sub-second function, an adjustable stud holder, and is a chronograph movement. The Fontainemelon 285 movement was utilized in watches from around 1968.
