The Fontainemelon 2711 watch movement is an open face calibre featuring a bimetallic screw balance. It incorporates a very early two-section regulator allowing for coarse and fine adjustment. The ratchet is positioned on the dial side, with the ability to click-unlock from the rear side through a marked screw head. The crown mechanism employs a rocker bar, and a setting pin is fixed in the movement by a screw. The movement offers functions such as stem winding and pin setting, as well as a sub-second hand. The Fontainemelon 2711 movement was used during the approximate period of 1909.
