The Fleurier 179 is a manual wind watch movement with a sub second function. It was derived from the Election calibre, which was then passed to Marvin ca. 1960 before eventually being adopted by Longines in the late 1960s. The movement is compatible with interchangeable parts across all three manufacturers. The Fleurier 179 movement was commonly used around 1969.
