The Omega 1012 is a mechanical watch movement that was produced from 1972 to 1984 with a total of 126000 units manufactured. In this movement the automatic gear is integrated directly into the movement itself rather than being attached to a manual-wind calibre as is typically done. This design feature allows for a rugged rotor bearing to be accommodated in the center while maintaining a low profile. The Omega 1012 movement offers several functions including an automatic winding system and sweep seconds.
