The Favre Leuba 1188 is an open face calibre mechanical watch movement, which was likely produced in the mid-1940s. It features a stem wind and set function, along with a sub second hand. It may have an optional Breguet hairspring and potentially include a left-handed ratchet-wheel screw. Several variations of the movement exist, denoted by catalog designations such as 233, 237, 241, 247, 253, 257, 263, 269, 275, 281, 443, 453, 475, and 481, with varying bridge shapes. Precise differences between these versions are not currently known.
