The ETA 9392 watch movement, used during the period of 1973-1977, features a pointed balance staff supported by white jewels. Its unique design incorporates a conventional balance system stabilized by a quartz controlled electronic circuit, which provides a pulse during each balance period. The movement includes functions such as a quartz controlled balance motor, sweep second hand, day adjustment of +/-24 hours, quickset date, and an electrical hack feature.
