The ETA 9162 watch movement is equipped with an electronically controlled tuning fork, which allows for precise timekeeping. It features a sweep second hand for accurate measurements, as well as a quickset date function. Additionally, the movement includes a mechanical hack feature, enabling the user to synchronize the time accurately. The ETA 9162 watch movement was produced from 1967 onwards, with specific differences from the 218D variant remaining unknown.
