The ETA 2824-2 watch movement, designed around 1975, features an automatic mechanism with sweep second function. Equipped with a jeweled lever, it incorporates a calendar with a quickset option enabled by reverse setting. Notably, the stem mechanism lacks a setting-lever spring, and late samples may exhibit glued hairspring terminal. The barrel drives the train and hand gear separately.
