The ETA 2639R watch movement was utilized from 1962 to 1967. This period saw the implementation of a micro rotor and a double jewel bearing with 30 jewels. The movement featured a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier. A selfwinding gear incorporated a pinion floating between two prominent jewels for direction switching. Additionally, the movement allowed for a low profile through indirectly driven minute and second hands. The ETA 2639R movement encompassed automatic functionality, sweep second hand feature, and the ability to set the date by changing 23-24 hours.
