The ETA 1087 watch movement, produced between 1894-1904, is an open face calibre, model 5 movement. It features a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The movement also includes a regulator with a nut on a thread bow and a unique ratchet placed under the base plate. Additionally, it incorporates a negative stem mechanism with a rocker bar. The functions of the ETA 1087 movement include stem winding, which can be switched by the crown or lever, as well as a sub second display.
