The Elgin 559 watch movement, used from 1938 onwards, features a Breguet hairspring. It is a manual-wind chronograph movement with a 60-second and 30-minute counter, operated by a single pusher and a pillar wheel system. Additionally, it has a flyback function, allowing for instant reset and restart. The movement also includes a sub-second display.
