The Elgin 395 watch movement is a manual-wind chronograph movement with a 60-second, 30/45-minute capability, and a pillar wheel. It also features a sub-second function and options for a 12-hour time display and a calendar, similar to the 281 movement. The movement was in use starting from 1932 and varied only in terms of different pillar plate sizes across the 281 to 284 models.
