The Elgin 345 watch movement is equipped with a pin-lever escapement and features an indirect minute hand friction clutch on the barrel, as well as a stem mechanism without a setting-lever spring. This movement allows for manual winding, a sweep second function, and the display of the date. It was commonly used during the approximate time period of 1970.
