The Elgin 232 watch movement is an open face calibre with a bimetallic screw balance that features four adjustment screws. It is equipped with a Breguet hairspring. There are only minor differences between the Eterna 403 and Elgin 232 movements. The Elgin 232 movement offers stem wind and set functions, as well as sub seconds. It was produced around 1931.
