The Elgin 162 watch movement is a manual wind mechanical movement introduced around 1955. It is available in both sweep seconds and non-sweep seconds variations. The movement features functions such as sweep second hand movement, manual winding capability, and a date function that can be set within a range of +/- 24 hours. All variants of this movement are signed with the designation 022-18.
