Return To ShopThe Dugena 779 watch movement is a hunter calibre movement with a Breguet hairspring. It features an intermediate wheel between the minute pinion and the rest of the train, allowing for a low profile without compromising sturdiness. The arrangement of the four train bearings is based on the four brightest stars of the Pleiades constellation, which gives the calibre its name. The movement can be optionally certified as a chronometer by the Neuchatel Observatory. Notable functions include stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second display. The Dugena 779 movement was used from the year 1910 onwards. There are no known differences between the 17'''10, 700, and 702 variations of the movement.
