The Dugena 1014 watch movement features a jewel-bearing rotor with 23 jewels and operates as a detached manual wind. It includes an ingeniously simple power reserve display that utilizes the rotation of the barrel arbor to transfer motion to a tiny dial, without the need for a complicated differential gear. Other notable functions of the movement include automatic winding, a sweep second hand, and a center seconds display. The power reserve is capable of indicating a range of 2 to 38 hours, although it should be noted that this range may be slightly exaggerated and actually covers a run time of approximately 34 hours. The Dugena 1014 movement was commonly used around the period of 1955.
