The Cyma Tavannes 265 watch movement was produced between 1950 and 1954. This movement was the first automatic-family watch movement with a ball-bearing rotor for gents. During this period, there was a transition from T- to U-shock device and a modification in the calibre, resulting in various versions of the movement. It is unclear if all calibres were made in the TC variant. Signatures of UT versions were also changed to UC. In addition to being automatic, the movement features a sweep second hand and date function.
