The Cyma Tavannes 054 watch movement was produced between 1897 and 1899, with a total of 10,120 units manufactured during that period. This open face calibre, known as model 5, features a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The movement also includes a regulator with a nut on the thread bow, an unusual ratchet under the base plate, and a negative stem mechanism with a rocker bar. Its functions include stem winding, which can be switched using either the crown or lever, and a sub second display.
