The Cupillard 233 watch movement, developed during the period of 1899 and onwards, features a pin-lever escapement and utilizes straightforward and cost-effective manufacturing methods. The movement incorporates many punched wheels and employs piano-string wire within drilled aluminum arbors instead of more complex engine-turned pivots. Additional functions of the Cupillard 233 movement include stem winding and setting capabilities, as well as a sub-second display.
