The Cortebert 522 watch movement, which was in production from 1947 to 1974, had a total of 13,218 units produced. In early samples, it featured a Breguet hairspring, while late samples were equipped with a flat hairspring and a mobile stud carrier. An optional Triovis regulator was also available. This movement offered a manual-wind chronograph with 60-second, 30-minute, and 12-hour counters controlled by a pillar wheel. Additionally, it had a sub second function and allowed for the setting of day and month through a pusher at 10 o'clock. The movement also featured a date hand and moon phase display, which could be adjusted through a pusher at 8:30 o'clock.
