The Certina 414 watch movement, produced between 1897-1899, consisted of approximately 117,000 units. This open-face caliber model 5 featured a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. Notably, it incorporated a ratchet under the base plate and employed a negative stem mechanism with a rocker bar. Its functions included stem winding, switchable by either the crown or lever, as well as a sub-second display.
