The Certina 157 is a quartz controlled stepper motor watch movement used during the period from 1990 onwards. It features a quickset date function, analog display, and does not include a second hand. The movement operates on a lithium cell 44 battery, recommended for use until 18th May 2010. It incorporates a quartz mechanism and includes a calendar with a quickset feature.
