The Buren 546 watch movement was developed in 1949 and was the first automatic movement for gents that featured a ball-bearing rotor. Shortly after its introduction, it was replaced by the 1247UT, which had a different rotor shape. Throughout its production period, there were details modifications and changes, including a shift to the U shock device and a modified calibre, resulting in various variants. It is uncertain if all calibres were produced in the TC variant. Additionally, even the signatures of UT versions were altered to UC. The movement is equipped with a sweep second hand and is an automatic movement. These are some of the key features of the Buren 546 movement.
