The Buren 544 is a mechanical watch movement with a detached manual wind and a micro rotor. It features a Girocap combined settings for the escapement wheel and a micrometer regulator. The movement allows for a low profile due to its indirectly driven minute and second hands. Similar to the 215-9, the 218.9 has an enhanced winding mechanism. It was produced and used during the period of 1960-1962. This movement also includes automatic winding and a sweep second function.
