The Buren 1282 watch movement, developed in 1965, was the first movement with 36000 A/h. It features a ball-bearing rotor and is an automatic movement with two roller freewheels. The movement utilizes a worm screw regulation gear. It is based on the manual wind calibre AS 1687/1688 and was a joint development by Doxa, Eberhard, Favre-Leuba, Girard-Perregaux, and Zodiac. The movement includes automatic functionality, sweep seconds, and a calendar with the date set by changing 20:40-24h. This movement was primarily used around 1965.
