The Buren 1001 watch movement, used during the period of 1962-1967, incorporates an indirectly driven minute and automatic gear that enables a low profile design. It features a ratchet on the dial side and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The movement utilizes a relatively small rotor ball bearing and supports functions including automatic winding, sweep second hand, and Bascule winding.
