The Buren 1001 watch movement, used from 1971 onwards, features a ball-bearing rotor and is similar to the 8110A model, but does not include a 12-hour counter. The movement encompasses various functions, such as an automatic chronograph with 60-second and 30-minute counters, pillar wheel mechanism, and a flyback feature that enables instant reset and restart. Additionally, it offers a day display that can be set through a reset-pusher in the crown position, supporting two languages, as well as a quickset date function.
