The Bulova 6AP is an open face calibre watch movement with a pin-lever escapement. It features a coarse imitation of balance screws and a ratchet on the dial side. The movement also includes a hidden crown mechanism with a rocker bar. It is the successor to the Kienzle 16-46 and has been designated as the Bulova 6AP. The movement is capable of stem winding and setting, has a sub-second function, and offers the option of a digital display showing minutes and jumping hours. The Bulova 6AP was commonly used during the approximate period of 1940.
