The Bulova 218D watch movement, developed and produced by Durowe, was a mechanical movement that was only in production for a brief period around 1965. It featured an electromechanically controlled balance motor, a sweep second hand, and an electrical hack feature. This movement was sold by the U.S. Time Corporation to Swiss Ebauche SA in 1965 and was exclusively used in mechanical watches during its limited availability.
