The Bulova 14EFAD watch movement is a detached manual wind mechanism with an indirectly driven minute hand, allowing for a relatively large balance and low profile design. It features a Type VS rotor that is 0.6mm higher, enhancing its performance. Additionally, the movement includes automatic winding, a sweep second function, a separate day aperture, and a date function that can be quickly set by repeatedly pulling the crown. The Bulova 14EFAD movement was commonly used around 1975.
