The Bidlingmaier 111 is a mechanical watch movement that was introduced in 1948. It is notable for being the first automatic movement to feature a ball-bearing rotor. Later versions of the movement incorporated different rotor shapes. The Bidlingmaier 111 is part of the ETA family 1216-1218, although it lacks the ball bearing found in the original 1194R. The movement offers automatic winding and a sweep second function. Its period of use spans from 1948 onward.
