The Bettlach 8371-67 is a manual wind watch movement with a sweep second function. It features a day and date display that can be set by +/-24h and quickset by reverse setting respectively. The movement includes a jeweled lever and was commonly used around the period of 1970. Notably, the late samples of this movement have a glued hairspring terminal, a stem mechanism without a setting-lever spring, and a peculiar arrangement where the train and hand gear are separately driven by the barrel.
