The Bettlach 8125 is an automatic watch movement with two roller freewheels and a ball-bearing rotor. It incorporates a regulation gear and is derived from the manual wind calibre AS 1687/1688. The development of the automatic mechanism involved collaboration between Doxa, Eberhard, Favre-Leuba, Girard-Perregaux, and Zodiac. Noteworthy features include shock protection and the presence of sweep seconds. This movement was employed around 1965; however, specific differences between the 31.19, 31.29, 31.4, and 31.9 variants are not disclosed.
