The Bettlach 1454 watch movement is a hunter calibre with options including a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. It is available in three different heights: 4.1mm, 4.75mm, and 5.0mm, and features different bridge shapes compared to other versions. These calibres, although poorly documented in the literature, are designated as 99 with the addition of construction height and generation number in this archive. Variants known from literature and the real world are listed. The movement functions include stem wind and set, as well as a sub second hand. It was commonly used in watches from around 1935.
