The Alpina 634 is an open face calibre watch movement that features varying bridge shapes and is likely equipped with a left-handed ratchet-wheel screw. It belongs to a set of movements including the 285, 293, 299, 303, 327, 331, 335, 339, 345, and 497, but the differences between these models are not currently known. The Alpina 634 movement is designed to provide the functions of stem winding and setting, as well as a sub second display. It was commonly used around the period of 1940.
