The A. Schild 1906 watch movement features jewel bearings for the barrel and an integrated automatic gear. Unlike conventional designs, the automatic gear is directly incorporated into the movement, eliminating the need for attachment to a manual-wind calibre. This unique configuration allows for a robust movement with a relatively large balance and a low profile. The A. Schild 1906 movement includes several functions such as automatic winding, a sweep second hand, and the ability to set the day by +/-24 hours. Additionally, the date can be adjusted by changing the time to 21:45 and then advancing it by 24 hours. This movement was primarily utilized in watches produced around 1970.
