The A. Schild 1744 watch movement, whose identity was determined only after setting the parts, encompasses calibres of various dimensions designated from 1 to 160. Later calibres were given a new designation denoting the width in whole lignes and the old generation number. This movement features manual winding and was primarily used around the year 1940.
