Return To ShopThe A. Schild 1719 watch movement features a pin-lever escapement and an indirectly driven minute hand, allowing for a big balance and low profile. Optional shock protection is provided by elastical spiral balance spokes. The movement is often or always labeled as 8800, with the differences between 8801 and 8803 not known. It is a manual wind movement with a sweep second function. The movement was used predominantly around 1965.
