The A. Schild 1713 watch movement, introduced in 1933, features a linear automatic winding mechanism with a sliding weight. It can be manually wound using a special key for servicing. Later samples of the movement include a beveled base plate and no separate slide bearing on the balance cock. Functionally, the movement includes a sub-second display and is available in both sweep seconds and non-sweep seconds variations.
