The A. Schild 1604 is an open face calibre watch movement featuring a cylinder escapement. It is equipped with an early two-section regulator for coarse and fine adjustment. The watch movement includes a ratchet on the dial side and a hidden crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The back side of the movement is painted in golden color. Previously designated as Kienzle 11-41, it is the only cylinder calibre produced by Kienzle. The A. Schild 1604 shares similarities with the Haller EOS, suggesting a possible design connection to Thomas Ernst Haller AG, which Kienzle acquired in 1928. The movement offers the functions of stem winding and setting, as well as a sub second display. It was predominantly used during the period of approximately 1940.
