Return To ShopThe A. Schild 1526 is an open face calibre watch movement with a stop- and split-second function utilizing pillar wheels. It offers a timer split-second (rattrapante) of 60 seconds (0.2s) and a 30-minute timing function. Additionally, it has the option of a 60-second (0.1s) timing function with a 30-minute capacity. The movement features stem winding and a sweep second hand. It is believed to have been manufactured by Valjoux but is often only listed as Heuer Sport 19'''FR in catalogs. The A. Schild 1526 was commonly used around 1949 and maintains the same dials for both variants by doubling the gear ratio from the seconds wheel to the escape wheel without affecting the maximum displays or power reserve.
