The A. Schild 1379 is a manual wind mechanical watch movement that was first introduced in 1958 and is still being used today as a module on the 707N. One notable feature of this movement is the Incastar regulator, which is the only large-scale produced regulator that incorporates a free oscillating hairspring. The hairspring is fixed between two rollers, allowing for the adjustment of its length and eliminating any isochronism error caused by the gap between the regulator pins. In addition to its precise regulation, the A. Schild 1379 movement also includes functions such as a sweep second hand, a date display that can be adjusted by +/- 24 hours, and a period of usage that extends from 1958 onwards.
